We all know about the times when your belly just starts to feel like a balloon! This can be super frustrating especially when those bloated days land on beach days or special events.

Instead of worrying about feeling bloated and uncomfortable, you can give any of these detox waters a try. I found that the more of these I drank, the better I started to feel! 

CUCUMBER LEMON WATER 

✿ Lemon is known to kick start digestion and helps to flush out toxins & the vitamin C will brighten your skin too!

This one is super simple.

All you need is:

 ½ a cucumber

1 lemon

A few sprigs of mint

Water

      ✿ Wash the produce, slice and add your mint! Fill your jug with water and let it steep overnight in the fridge. By the next day you will have a super refreshing drink that you can continue to top off for the next few days!

      STRAWBERRY BASIL WATER  

      ✿ Strawberries are super high in antioxidants, potassium, vitamin C, and so many other nutrients! While basil has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. These two combined can help you feel renewed and ready to head to the beach! 

      All you need is: 

      10 fresh strawberries

      2 lemon wedges

      Freshly squeezed juice from ½ a lemon

      Handful of fresh basil

      Water

          ✿ Combine all these ingredients in your favourite glass jug, stir gently, refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavours to set. Serve & Enjoy!  

          PINEAPPLE LIME WATER

          ✿ Pineapple is filled with anti-inflammatory enzymes and lemon helps to dramatically speed up digestion. Drink this as much as you’d like and watch the bloat disappear!

          All you need is: 

          Fresh juice from 2 limes

          1 lemon, cut into wedges

          Pineapple wedges

          Fresh parsley leaves

              ✿ Combine all these ingredients in your favourite glass jug, stir gently, refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavours to set. Serve & Enjoy!
