I am CONVINCED that I'm the queen of dry skin! Which is so not a title I want to have! I swear it hits me harder than anyone I know. Living in a cold and dry climate definitely doesn't help! If you are having trouble combatting your dry skin, make sure to check out how I work to stay moisturized during the driest months of the year!

♡ First things first, you need to find yourself a moisturizer that works for your skin type! If you have oily skin than try to make sure you grab an oil free moisturizer and if you have super dry skin you might want to look for a stronger moisturizer that holds its moisture all day. These are usually of a thicker consistency and contain extra oils to hold moisture.

♡ My daily routine includes all over body application of coconut oil and a thick moisturizer, facial day cream, facial night cream, and lots of lip balm!

♡ If you are like me and have a lot of dry skin on your face you can always add a moisturizing face mask to your regular skin care routine! Here is a DIY mask you can do at home that is hypoallergenic and all natural. It will leave you feeling relaxed, soft, and rejuvenated. It's a bonus that it's super easy and cost efficient to make.

♡ 2 tsp of coconut oil

♡ 1.5 tsp of raw honey

♡1 drop of lavender oil (optional)

That’s it! Mix these ingedients together and apply to clean skin. Leave on for 10-15  minutes then rinse.

♡ Another great trick for all over body moisture is to take a coconut oil bath! All you do is melt some of your favourite raw coconut oil into your hot tub and soak. This is great for your skin and gives you some time to relax, while taking care of your body too!

♡ Last tip is for choosing your cleansing products! Once you have your skin type figured out you will be able to choose your skin/facial cleansers much easier. For dry skin you need to use gentle cleansers that don't risk drying your skin out even more! Look for ones that don't have strong chemicals and acids. Organic and hypoallergenic products are always preferred!

Now go relax, pamper, and moisturize! xo ♡♡♡
